The excellent White Mountains Trail System links 200 scenic miles of multi-use trails for every level of fitness. The area also offers outstanding seasonal hunting grounds with antelope, black bear, elk, mule deer, turkey, and dove. Ready for entertainment of another kind? The White Mountain Family Fun Park features miniature golf, go-carts, and arcade games. Once you've worked up an appetite, local cafes offer wide-ranging menus sure to please the whole crew. Only 20 minutes from national forest campsites, skiing, streams and great photography for elk, bighorn sheep, antelope, deer and even bear. There are fisheries and hatcheries nearby and if you look hard enough maybe a waterfall or two. Numerous permitted activities are available on the Fort Apache Indian Reservation as well.
